2949066 is a 69 340 auto rad you can see the tranny line connections at the bottom...4spd is 2949068 and THAT IS WHAT I NEED!! Dang it!! Good luck!!

According to MyMopar radiator # chart this is correct for 69 340 auto or stick car w/o a/c and radiator # ending w 68 is same but for a/c car.

It came stock with my 4 speed car.

Sorry guys, I was positive that I had read 66 was for auto and 68 was for 4 spd:banghead: but for the life of me all my books as well as everyone here states 66 works for both. Weird how 68's were different from auto to std. but 69's werent. Lemme ask a stupid question... so did they simply cap the fittings if they put it in a 4spd??

Thanks, humbly:prayer:

Im unclear on the #s myself. I need a radiator for a 69 340 4speed non a/c swinger. If im reading MyMopar rite this would be the correct one for a car w/o ac and the # ending w 68 is for one w/ a/c. That seems odd to me because usualy auto and standards are diff. Part #s.

Mine is a 69 340 4 speed non AC and it's number is 2949066.

Thats what I was thinking...68's are different, but I checked 3 sources (besides here..no offense) Goviers casting #'s white book, Chrysler Muscle Car interchange manual 68-74, Paul Herd, 67-74 Challenger and Barracuda Restoration Manual, and my factory parts cd. All of them confirmed that #66 is for both, and 068 is for both with "max cooling" a/c. 068 is also used in 69 273's and 318's with a/c. Dunno where I read that 068 was for 4 spd's.....
