69 Dart speedo cluster

I cant get my hand under the dash enough to hook up new speedo cable,How do iI remove speedo cluster?Is there a trick to it,I tried dropping colum down a littlebut i still cant get it out.By the way it has factory air

It is usually the wiring harness that is attached to the back of the instrument cluster just above the speedo. There is a wire clip that wraps around the wiring harness as it passes over the speedometer attachment. Hope this helps
