69 dart summit exhaust

Was putting in my summit exhaust and the mufflers arnt even with each other then looked in my 68 dart service manual and the pic looks like they arnt even? Are they not supposed to be? Should I make them even?

I bought the Summit kit also and ended up cutting and modifying mine-I have a 73 Swinger. Mine are closer to even now. The kit was a good price and it sounds good too. I had a bit of a fitment issue by the left rear going over the axle too....(got kind of close to the shock)

I did to I cut the one over the drivers side axel because it rubbed againt brake line / axel but the muffler arnt in the same position just a perfectionist I guess
