69 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 auto -** MOD TOP **

Opportunity to own a rare and cool Mopar. 1 of 50 Swingers with the Floral Top were made according to the Mod Top Registry.
Only a few still exist. This one stayed in one family from 1970 till I purchased the car a few years back .
I simply don't have the time for it , so it is up for sale.
Options include:

F6 Rallye Green
Green floral top
White Swinger stripe
Column automatic
Black bench interior
340 4 bbl

Paint and body nice
Quarters replaced
Frame is very solid
Runs and drives but needs to be gone through mechanically (brakes, tune up etc)

Currently has it's original floral top on it.
Has separated on the edges, and seams are separating in spots.

E55 = 340 4bbl engine (275hp); D32 = A727 3 speed Automatic Transmission (Torqueflite); LM = Dodge Medium Price Class; 23 = 2 Door Hardtop; P9B = 340/1969/Built at Hamtramck, MI; 35XXXX = Sequence number.


Glass is good, bumpers need to be rechromed/replaced.
Engine needs cleaning/detailing.
Have front seat covers to replace torn originals.
Back seat is fine.
Needs headliner replaced.
One crack in dash in the center.

Have TWO buildsheets/original fender tag and previous owner history.
ORIGINAL Matching engine. ( see additional pics link )
Tranny is unstamped, however been with car for it's entire life according to previous owner who had it since it was a year old.

Rare, complete car , which can be enjoyed while restoring it.

Good luck on selling your Dart, Mohjo! I would love to buy it as a project car and get the second MOD TOP for my current dart. No money is available for for another car tho.

In looking at the pictures, I believe you have a second Mod Top.
If you find yourself with the added MOD TOP as a possible separate sale I would appreciate a pm or email from you about it. You may remember me, we talked some time ago about a MOD TOP that that a friend of yours had. He quoted me a price but I was not able to swing that at the time. :sad7:

Anyway, this car could use a good home from someone that could show off the unique heritage that it has, hopefully not taking the top off as some people might be tempted to do.

Love your car.

The NOS top that comes with the car is the top that the friend had.
I ended up buying it from him ( unfortunately for the same price :sad9: )

I have another Mod Top Dart owner who would like to the top as well , as he finished the resto on his car minus the top.

So if I end up selling the car without the NOS top I'll let both of you know .
