How to? I have a decent panel and new clips. there must be a space between body and the clip, how do you install?
 
The clips attach to panel via some bent down fork shaped tabs in the back of the panel. Then the panel goes onto the trunk, studs through the holes and place nuts on with the trunk open.

So the clips goon the inside of the panel and the aluminum rests against the paint. Nothing to seal the hole in the vertical panel where the holes are?
 
Im having a hard time getting the clips to stay in the panel. any suggestions?
