69 Valiant- wiring dual field alt, reg, with msd box,

Hi guys,

Just a quick question.

Blue and brown resistor wires, can they be put together as the msd allows me to bypass the resistor?
Then red wire from MSD ties into those?

Basically i'm confused on where the brown and blue and blue with white stripe wire go since no longer needing resistor and if they need to cross one another at some point?

Even though this is a late (6 month) reply.. Yes, tie the Brown and the Blue/White wires together (one is the START and the other is the RUN off the key ignition switch) when bypassing the ballast resistor.
When both are connected together and tied to the red lead, it provides 12v signal (START/RUN) to the MSD box.
