Because I couldn't find a good compare photo between Sure-Grip and open diff; just hoping to share a picture of this 7 1/4 Sure-Grip posi-loc I managed to find and plan on installing in my 66 Formula S not optioned from the factory. Realizing that most would upgrade to the larger alternative I just wanted to somewhat justify my actions by trying to keep this S car as original as possible but slightly increasing the drivability and performance. In addition, back in the day had a 68 GTS 273 4BL with a 3.23 sure grip and with all the people I let drive that car like it was rented, it NEVER broke an axle!!
