are the backing plates and hardware different between sbp and bbp on the 7.25 rear axle? I know I need new drums and maybe shoes but can I reuse everything else? Wheel cyl are new.

Thanks to those in the know:prayer:

SBP backing plates are different. They have a different offset, and can't be mixed with BBP drums and shoes. Wheel cylinders are different for 9" drums, they're only 13/16". If you have 10" sbp drums you should be able to reuse the wheel cylinders, looks like all the rear 10" drums use 15/16" wheel cylinders. The springs and hardware you can re-use if you have 10" drums, but if you're starting over it would be a good time to replace all the hardware too. Pretty much all of that stuff wears out.
