7.25 Rear End Leaking?

Okay so today I was changing the rear brakes and on the driver side I noticed some very heavy weight oil. I think I found it leaking behind the wheel hub that feeds into the rear end. Is that possible? If so what can I do to stop or fix it? I did check the oil level in the rear end and it was down.

Most likely an axle seal. Pretty easy fix. Here is an excellent detailed thread to give you an idea of work involved.

Okay after I got the wheel on I noticed some play in the wheel. Could that be the seal still or is that something else?
