[FOR SALE] 7 engines, 2 SB and 5 BB - Missouri

I just acquired from a retired mechanic, 7 engines, 2 360's, 2 400 ( I steel crank engine), 1 440 cast crank engine ( short block),, 2 early ( pre 68) 383's hp.

I will keep 1 360 amd 1 BB, rest for sale or trade on ( SB cable shift 904 or good poly 318)....... located between springfield and Joplin , Missouri....

400 is the small block or large block? Tell me about them, what all you have for them, steel crank sounds good.Now how about shipping? I know you won't pay for it,will you ship? Thanks FABO

Pretty sure he's talking 400 Chrysler which is a B engine.

yes, 400 is B ( big block) engine. vast majority were cast cranks, few came with forged. you are thinking stroker SB to get that displacement.

have some of these engines and others. 440 standard block cast crank, 6 rods and pistons. $250........ 400 ( yes big block B engine) long block $275...... complete 360 $450 .....other 400's, 383 hp, 360's...... can ship truck freight, but YOU set up shipping. I deliver to terminal. mail me for cast numbers , dates if needed.. take good cable shift SB 904 or good 318 poly on trade .

I have a early 383 block, with a cast crank. I know it has been bored .040 ? would have to try to check exactly if interested. $150 . not included in this group of engines, is a '65 383 hp complete engine. afb carb to pan. . I will sell it, but not trying. I have a car that could use it. mail for price....
