7 inch by 14 Rallye

Hi everyone:

I was thinking about buying a new set of Rallye wheels and I'm not sure if a 7X14 will fit in the back of a stock 69 Dart. Is it too wide? The tire I have on the 5.5 is good but the guy at Cavell tire said it's a little hard on it with such a narrow rim

yes it will fit , I have 7x14 and 15 4.25 bs rallye wheels with 235 14 and 15 tires on the back of the car . Slicks are on 7x 15 , road tires on 7 x 14 rims

Strange thing is some cars have a bit more clearance , some fit 8 x 14 or 15 4.5 bs with 255 - 60 -14 or 15 , no way on my car I'd have to roll the fender and it would be less than 1/16" away from the springs .
