70- 71 are the same,70-72 will fit. Early years had to be modified for the grille to fit on a Duster. The holes cut in on the side of the radiator are different on the early years and the duster grill will not fit.
On the 72 right fender well has the indent for the charcoal canister. Early darts have studs for the grille support also. I install a 72 valiant on a 71 Demon . Everything fit.

I put a 68 dart on a 71 Duster and had to change things for the grille to fit.

A dart the grill is farther away you may not have that problem.

Here is a picture of the 72 indent on the fender well gold . Also the orange front was a 68 dart modified for the grille to fit. The holes were cut bigger.

The blue one uncleaned was and early see how small the holes were. Just some info you should know before buying one.
