[Found!] 70-73 a b e column ignition switch wiring harness

So that short harness is made on the switch ( wire lugs braded on the back of it maybe? ).
We've seen the connectors to the cars harness meltdown before but it isn't so common. I think it might be more common to factory a/c builds. Anyway...
If it happens repeatedly there must be too much current versus the resistance there. You could conquer the resistance by soldering the wires together, deleting the harness connectors with male/female terminals but... If too much current is the cause, it could meltdown at the next point of resistance. My guess would be inside the switch itself.
 
I have the switches with the harnesses and male connectors. $20 +ride. Do you also need the female cut off of the dash harness?
