I hung my headliner and it looks like the front bow is too long. I'm guessing I mixed them up when I removed them 3 years ago. If there were color codes they are long gone. I read that the longest goes to the back. Is this true and are they all different lengths, curvature? I'll have to pull them and start over. Also, the rear most sleeve is much longer than the bow (6 inches?). Is this normal?

The factory service manual usually lists the order they're supposed to be. The FSM refers to them as "listing wires" If I remember correctly. It'll be in the interior section.

Yes, they are different shapes and lengths too if I remember correctly. Once you find out, remark them some how.

I pulled the bows out and see that the front bow is longer than the next bow. Even after a light media blast in my cabinet I can make out colors on most of the bows....barely. I laid them out shortest to longest and verified the colors according to this thread. I had mixed up the middle and front bows.

Color Code Sequence
FRONT

tan--------------------purple

med. green-------------purple

med. blue--------------purple

tan--------------------black

purple-----------------purple

REAR

I didn't see it in the service manual.

Do you have any more useless tips?
