Has anyone tried this combination of wheel and tire on the front for a 70 Duster? I know it will fit the rear, but not positive about the front. Have the tires, just haven't mounted them yet. The rims are stock type rally wheels 14 x 7. BF Goodrich 225/70 14 tires. 26.40 inches tall. The rims go right to the ball joint but do not rub. Anyone??

I had 215/70-14s on the front of the Duster with no problems. They might
be a little tight. Mount one and try it before you go any further.
I had no problems with the ball joints hitting rim or tire.

For future reference and those wanting to know, The 225/70/14 on the 7 inch rim comes about an 1/8 of an inch too close to the front fender when turning. If you are turning and hit a bump you will surely rub the tire and probably screw the fender up. For a little insurance factor, I went with 205/70/14 on the fronts only.
