Someday though when 340 cars are going for $80,000
What about 3 yrs from now when 340 cars could be 25k
10 years ago m code darts cudas could not get 40k
if a matching numbers 340 demon just as mint at his barely got 32k in bahama yellow 7 months ago at barrette jackson or a minter 1969 dart gts 340 4spd ragtop numbers car barely 42k
How much you have in a car or what it takes to restore it means zip when you want to or have to sell
How many guys spend 70k to restore a car and lose 30k when they sell zillons
Only a no nothing pays 50k for a 25k car today 15k if they go down
45k to 50k you can buy and E-body

I've seen $30,000+ 340 cars for sale already but on classic car lots.
It was a hypothetical scenario I mentioned.
71 hemi cudas weren't always considered a million dollar car, not until Barrett Jackson

They buy it for 18k wax it and ask 30k 8.25 rear 904 73 340
clones are not worth 45k if a mint numbers car struggles to get over 30
The guy in the suit who pays 50k for a duster clone is just a fool
it makes others think there car is worth 50k find another fool you might get it
He is lucky to sell it the buyer is still a dummy

Collectors Car auctions are no different then most art and other high end auctions . If you own something, and want to run up the value, as opposed to paying an appraiser. You just have a shill to bid it up, and buy back your car for you.

Pictures were taken yesterday. I can't remember how old the tires are but if I had to guess...10-12 years old.

Thank you.
Nice car. Just my opinion, which has no real value. I would say $25 -28 k.

If this is a older restoration you have done an outstanding job of maintaining it OP..... Very nice car.....

However, it's an older restoration. Do you have documentation including pictures when the refurb was happening? That will be critical. To a buyer they should have their guard up as they don't know what's under the paint. And that's a critical point IMO.... Once again beautiful car.

Just go look at the Paint and Body thread and "if" you can back up how nice the body is and someone can hop in it and go riding someone will pay 30K for it. In truth and in 2023 it could bring more than my price. Start high, you can always come down.

It reminds me of the one my Dad had and my very first taste of being in a A body so I'm glad my world is broke, busted, and can't be trusted......

Good luck,
JW

i agree with some of the other estimates. 35 is probably the absolute tippy-top of the market with it being more realistic in the 28~30 range. i'd say list it at 32 even and see if you get any interest and that leaves you with some negotiation wiggle room.

it's a nicely done car that presents very well. there's obviously a ton of work done that's under appreciated: the subframe connectors for instance, but unfortunately there's not a lot of ROI with stuff like that.

A couple months ago a green and black 340 sold for 73,000. Your car should bring 45,000. Right color inside and out , 4speed, powerful motor.

I would put it up for 50,000. It's beautiful, and the underside looks great too.
