70 Duster patch panels on 70 Valiant

-
When you say "totally different," do you mean that the body lines and wheel arch are different, or that the top of the panel or bumper area are different?

I only need the patch for the rear 3" of the wheel arch, then tapered down to below the lower body line and back to the front of the sidemarker hole.

Please advise.

Thank you.

So this then?

How about using a Duster rocker extension to patch a rocker end piece?

The Dart panels rear wheel arch angle is all wrong.

The Duster (above in grey) is closer in that regard, but I don't know about the other lines.

I'm only patching back to, and below, the side marker.

Oh sorry i was picturing a 2dr scamp. The Duster ones look closest for you... i don't know if they make patch panels for your car? Those Sherman ones are far from perfect, They look like they're shaped with a chisel, but it will give you a good starting point. If you can get access to some 18GA cold rolled sheet metal and a break you can make a nicer piece than that sherman one for half the price.

It's like $80 at rockauto.

I thought maybe it was close enough to be a better starting point than a flat sheet.

Sounds like not.

Thanks for the replies.
