70 duster wheels & tires

am building a 1970 duster-installing a hotchkis tvs susp package. would like some recommendations on what size tires and wheels i can run without body mods? also what backspacing? am running 8-3/4 rear w/disc brakes if it matters. any guidance and help greatly appreciated. thanks

im running 255/40/17 on the front, and 255/50/17 rear on 17X8 wheels. if youre in for a read of how i did it, check my build thread.

thanks. what are the alt brackets off of?

the alternator brakets are stock, non AC altenator brackets for a small block.
the ones for the AC are not. tghse are some stock, some heim joint, some mr. gasket.
