70 Swinger 1/4 Glass Trim

So is the trim on the front edge of the 1/4 glass stainless or chrome steel? It looks to be stainless, but its also magnetic, but some stainless is magnetic, so thats not always a surefire test.
Anyone know for sure? I dont want to start sanding/polishing if its not stainless!
