About a mile From my house there Is a 70 Dart For sale it has been there for almost a year now He wanted 4000 for it then went to 3500 but no one seems to want it. What is a good price for the car? it is actually pretty solid besides the Rust I have pictures of the frame is Really good and Floors, It Runs and the interior besides the Front Seat is in really great shape. So what are your Guy's thoughts?

Yea no way I would pay 4K for it 2500 I thought would be my limit. I would just get some new Quarter skins The interior being so nice Would save me a lot just a New front Cover and Carpet really all it needs.

You would get 4K Canadian for that thing around here,,,about $2800US

I'd offer $1200. Start digging into that car, and who knows what you'll find. As far as it goes for me, the engine, trans, and rear are worthless. I'd only be after the body.

I paid $2k for a 67 with no drivetrain, an 8 3/4 3.91 posi, no interior, and less rust than that one has. That drivetrain (including the rear) is worthless, IMO, and the 70 is a less desirable body style for many. $2k seems to be about the max if you're really into that year- more if you're not looking to put a V8 in it and just want something to drive/cruise around in.

If the interior was near mint, and no rust at all present and ran decent just needed a tune up and normal maintenance not anything major
Then it would be up there around 3500-4k

Also downside is the vinyl top, more rust under there im sure,
But it all comes down to its worth what someone will pay for it,
If you want it buy it, just use your judgement wisely.

If this car was on craigslist a couple months ago, I may have actually looked at it...

I took it for a test drive. Its a nice running car, it rides and handles nice, but the tires are shot. has A/C but the blower motor doesnt turn off (unless you unplug it). It will also need some rocker work. The floor and frame rails are in good shape and before the guy got it the car received a recent tune up. The front seat springs are shot, you pretty much sit on the floor. It would be a fun car to drive and fix up at the same time, but definitely not worth 4 grand. Which was part of the reason why I walked away.

I thought it was clean until I saw the rusty quarters...also looks like some repair work done b4...I'd say 1500 max but like said already it's how much you want it.
I do disagree on drive line being worthless though...someone somewhere wants it and it makes car usable for now also easier to check it out on the road and move in and out if shop.

I wanted to drive it as is for now Get my moneys worth out of it Just to have a nice little Driver but when the Time comes I would love to make a 70 340 Tribute I inherited my Dads original 340 and I though this would be Awesome to have a Companion. I would really love a 68 69 but really none in my Area.
