71 b body 360 throttle cable

After installing an holley heat shield my throttle cable had a bad angle.so I got an throttle cable adapter of e bay it raised the cable up 1 1/2 inches,but this adapter moved the throttle cable back about 2 inches,so my cable was short I fab a peice of steel from the cable to the carb work great.but it makes me wonder how long this type of road kill fab will last.i have been on line surching for a B body 71 360 throttle cable I need a 20 inch cable,but all 20 inch cable list for BB,will the BB cable work on my SB.ps i do not like the aftermarket cut to your size cable. Sorry this long and I have posted on outher sites but allways got great help here. Thanks former A body owner.

Offset throttle brkt clamps on like the cable, made from 1/8 strip and steel rod, up 1.5 and fwd 2.0". Also provides kick down spring connection with a bent or cut and welded arm that keeps the slot horizontal and useful.
