Are the holes marked with masking tape in my picture, the proper location for the hood scoops that came on a 71 Demon(two seperate scoops)? I know there are 8 studs, but I only marked the four holes. Thanks, Warren

yes those are the holes for your scoops. You need to make a template using these. From the bottom find the center of the two rear hood holes, drill those out. Using the template of your scoops place it on the top of your hood and mark the other holes to be drilled out. Make sure you have the scoops on right before you make the templates. I've seen people put them on wrong. There is a right and lift scoop. Hope this helps.
