How rare is this car? I'm fixing to start a resto on a 71 Duster 340 V24 call out car. Plum Crazy/Inviolet, shark tooth grille, 340- 4 spd, bucket seat, deluxe interior, black vinyl top, chrome rallye mirrors, fender turn signal indicators, rally dash with tach, deluxe pedal trim, black side and butt stripes. I've heard not many V24 cars were made.

Sorry not butt stripes. Tail light panel blackout stripe.

That's better. Probable pretty rare with all those options. I don't know the exact #s but pics. Would be nice. Is it correct motor, trans?

Its mostly in ugly primer right now but purple is peeking out under the spots that are flacking off. I do have the original 340 block and hoping to get numbered trans.

real desirable car, especially with matching drivetrain.

Definitely a car worth doing a full resto. Post your fender tag info.

I'm sure the more knowledgeable guys will be more help then what I am. I did know that the r11 was the AM radio and that can up. I'm pretty sure the e55 is a 340 4 barrel, and the d21 is the 4-speed manual transmission. Looks like it is one that needs to be saved for sure, not sure how much help this is but here it is.

WOW Crackedback are you sure on the satin door uppers and bench seat in black and white? It has buckets in it now. I'm guessing its was the hound tooth material seat type then huh?

Does anyone make repop seat covers in the white and black?

Thanks Crackedback. I was able to google some stuff and find a pic of the black white. Don't know how good that goes with the rest of the car being FC7. I'd like to have seen it as a bucket seat deluxe black/grey interior but oh well. Guess I should count my blessings having found an FC7 V24 car at all. Think it would detract from the value of the car if I restored it and used the buckets and a 4 speed console instead of the bench?

Couple more questions. Would the fender top signal indicators have been coded on the fender tag? It has them now but not sure if they were original to the car. Thinking they may have been since it has dual chrome rally mirrors.

If I can't get my hands on the original 4 speed what would be the best option for value to the car, a keisler 5 spd or just use the non number match 833 4 spd?. Opinions???
