Well I finally did it. My family thinks I'm crazy so I joined this forum to grab some support from people who just might understand. My dad had a 71 Duster and my earliest memory was that car and getting our CRAGARS. It was a sad day to see it go. Never understood why. Now, 34 years later, I have my own and I was able to surprise my dad when I brought it home. The look on his face when he sat in mine was one I will never forget and it was clear that the memories were coming back.

I hope to use this site to learn and exchange info so that I can make my Duster the best can be. Other than a recent respray, it is all original and 51K miles garage kept with full documentation. The only thing I can complain about is the lack of displacement which I hope this forum will help me correct. Can't wait to finally have something to take to a MOPAR meet. Hello everybody!

Welcome From Texas Barry! Cool story. Just got my high school car pictured below on the road again-71 340 Duster we refer to as Mr Duster...ironing out the bugs! Can't wait to take it over to my dad's place...he's 81 now, but I know he'll light up like your dad did. Lot's of knowledgeable folks here to help you. Please post pictures!

Came with 14" Cragar SS 4" small pattern. Also only had 205 60 14 all around. I ordered 15" Cragar SS 4" small pattern for the back with 255 60 15's and kept the 14" fronts but moved to a 225 60 14. This gives a 1.5" lift in the back. Ordered rims and tires from "Newstalgia Wheels".
