[Found!] 71 duster gas cap

Looking for a good usable 71 duster gas cap non-lockable. They’re 1yr only I believe. I have a lockable one now the pot metal is in bad shape with a few cracks. If have one or can point in the right direction for a new one. Much obliged.

I guess the chrome one would look better but honestly even a working painted one. I don’t have the means to paint it at the moment. My car has a Macco paint job was originally a B5

71 IS a one year only cap..pd 400 for an nos one.

Be careful with the aftermarket ones known to fall apart. Not sure if the make a 71

WOW What makes it so special? I thought there were only vented and unvented?

71 was the first year for the thermoquad...however the quad in 71 is unique. It was the only year that used air metering then they switched in 72 to fuel metering ( i MAY have this backwards...its been a while). You can tell a 71 thermoquad by the mixture screws...they are at an angle to the centerline of the engine.
