71 exhaust in 62 Lancer

Anyone ever put a later exhaust in a 62? When I bought my engine and tranny the guy gave me a brand new exhaust for a 71 Dart for free. I know I have to shorten the center section but the rest looks like it might fit. My car had no exhaust when I got it so I have nothing to compare it to.

I’m curious about this myself, I also have a 62 lancer that needs an exhaust upgrade

I see no reason why you cannot make it work. It should be very close.
