I am swapping the front K frame and steering to a 73 for the disc brakes and larger bolt pattern. The pitman arm from the 71 has the stud pointing upward making the taper in the steering linkage from the 73 on the wrong side. Do I put a pitman arm from a 73 in its place? It appears that the 73 pitman arm stud points down like I need. Is the spline the same on both pitman arms ?
