Good aft, Is there someone out there who can give me a hint on how to.....get the lens out of the the front side marker lights?????
I have taken the bulb socket out from the inner side of the the fender which was straight forward, 2 screws. Left side in good condition but the right side needed a bit of rework. I looked for NOS and found some on different website for US$125.00 and up. No way am I pay that. Looking at the, lets call it the socket assembly, the mounting flange was pretty good and worth working with. I cut the small crimp that held the bulb socket to the mounting flange to expose the hole size..5/8". Just happens that a Dorman 85805 bulb socket pops right in there. A little media blast to clean things up and paint (self etching primer inside and black Dupli Color outside and ready o bolt back in place. But not until I can get the lens out to clean up up the housing and lens.
So tell me how to get the darn lens out.. Del S
