In the process of doing the same thing to mine. I have two, one in about the same shape as yours and one that is worst. What did you use on the cracks to glue together and then Fill? Grille looks great!!
 
tough which way to go you think may look good just silver redone nope go all the way
TAKE YOUR TIME
step 1 repair with q bond with mig wire hammer flat
step 2 take you time repair all chip asp sand used 2 part semi rigid sure seal like bondo
step 3 re-force back with q bond ,mig wire flatten
step 4 mask silver paint black
step 5 mask black paint silver
step 6 dry spray silver
STEP 7 HAVE METAL TRIM THE EDGE ONLY !!! POLISH OUT!! LOOK FOR PRO !!PAY HIM
