I have owned this car since 1980, I was 16. I have spent a lifetime building it. I have spent a ton of money over the years, over 30K just on the R3 engine build and install.
The drive line and suspension is very custom built, Coil over front and rear, custom built chrome Molly K member Rack and Pinion steering, chasses works control arms, 3 link system in rear.
I purchased the R3 block new strait from Mopar performance in 2010 and finished the build in 2011. To this day
I have made about 30 passes on it at the track, and maybe 2K miles on it on the street. So this engine is in pristine condition.
The trany is a factory 833 aluminum case, it has been built and super pro shifted by Liberty Gears. The diff is a factor housing with the Mopar performance Race Aluminum 3rd member with 4.56 gears and Moser axles. The clutch is no a dual disc slipper from Advanced Clutches, it is new and has no passes on it other than a few street runs. The chassis is NHRA Certified to run 8.5 sec.
Although I never got the car to hook very well and my single slipper clutch was not holding on the top end, also from advanced clutches the car ran a 9.9 sec 1/4 mile my best 60' was 1.389 and my best mph was 134. This on Motor only, Engine HP estimated at 650 HP + it has a 250HP NOS kit. I have never used it since the car can run 9s with out it. And I'm not licensed.
I never got a good clean pass to see its real potential. Now I have made changes to suspension for better weight transfer and the better clutch. ?
I"m asking $49,500.00 Can $ OBO I welcome Any input on value.
