Just wondering if there is any difference between 72-73 340 stock valve covers?

Available repro's on Ebay for 71 & 72 but not 73. want to be sure before I pull the trigger.

Thanks

Can anyone help this new member with their question?

I'm sure there's some subtle differences, but I don't know what they are.....

The is no difference in the bolt pattern or the pvc/breather/oil fill cap on the covers.
A true 340 valve cover has a wire protector on the pass side.A hard to find cover, and pricey.
If the valve covers you are looking at do not have the wire protector, then they are nothing special. Not sure how much the VC you are looking at are,but if your not worried about the wire protector,a 318 valve cover will do the trick at half the price.

68 to 71 had a heat shield on pass side, late 71 72 did not, 73 might have some small differences in wire retainer location.
