On the '72 and later dashboards, they have a 'wood grain' trim set that goes on across the front face of the dash. This requires many small holes in the dash board sheetmetal.
Was there ever a version of this dashboard that didn't have all that trim and therefore would not have those holes, like a base-model car that didn't have that trim?
