'72 Dart Blower Fan Removal?

Installing MP cast valve covers on my 440 and the blower fan is in the way. Can the fan be taken out from the engine bay firewall by simply removing the 3 nuts or is it attached to the heater box??

yes, it comes right out. if you want to put it back in , it will have to be modified. search trudysduster username for his blower motor thread with a big block.

Actually, as I discovered, you have to take the heater box out from the inside to remove it. No big deal. A few bolts and it was out. Wish I new this before I wrestled the new valve cover into position!!! Now I'll fabricate a cover plate for the open hole and I'll be all set.
