72 Dart emergency brake

Took dart through inspection...passed everything except emergency brake, I pulled the brake lever back and car kept moving as if nothing was there...quick fix or mechanic bound?:banghead:

I know there's a thread somewhere

just need to get under car & check the cables--- the 1 connected to the emergency brake handle, then check the rear cables to see if they are frozen(typical)---Lawrence

The rear brakes could be out of adjustment.
