History: 72 Dart Swinger, 318, 907, 8 1/4. 75 front discs for the bolt pattern.

Originally this was a power steering car. I replaced with a manual steering box for clearance reasons.

I'm currently running 225/50 15 tires on 15X8.5 American racing 200S wheels.

Problem: I set the front end up so the tires are visually straight, with zero camber (visually) so I can drive this car to the front end place.
I drive it around the block and either I have extreme toe in or toe out, and the suspension has gained about 1-2" in heighth. The tires squell quite a bit about half way around the block.
So I reset and do it again. Same result.

Any ideas????

Thanks

I would jack it up all weight of the wheels.Undo your upper arms, now pull the front arm all the way forward and move the rear all the way back do booth sides.Let us know how that work.

Snake,

You mean that I should take all the adjustment out of the upper A arm. Pull all the adjustment on the front outward, and all the adjustment on the rear all the way inward.

Is that correct?

Snake,

I'll give it a try. I've been jockying the tie rods to adjust the toe. Haven't tried the upper A arms.
