72 demon 340 struts?

hi all. i removed the struts from my 72 demon 340 and one was a little bent and the shaft where the bushings go was a lot corroded. i also noticed that the two struts are different. one is fine thread and the other is coarse thread. is this normal. everything looked factory.
the fine threaded strut is the one i need to replace, so if this is a easy to find part....let me know. and if anyone has one that they wanna get rid of..let me know. thanks

I have a '71 and mine are identical. They're soaking in degreaser as we speak and darn if I didn't have to run out to the garage to double check. My passenger side was "tweaked" just a bit, too. I'm gonna just tweak it back to straight. Can't even see the bend with the naked eye.

I do know someone on the forum had a pair for sale. Maybe he'll chime in..

Forgot to tell 'ya, it looks like you have 2 different struts there. One of them had to be side loading the lower control arm bushing.

the fine thread 1 is correct for your car...you can see the coarse thread 1 is shorter...

so i need 2 fine thread struts? are they the same for all a bodies? thanks for the info.
