Hi y’all,
I’ve got a 1970 duster rear seat and I’ve got a buddy that has new seat cover upholstery for a 1972 duster that he’s not going to use. He said he would sell it to me. It the standard vinyl upholstery cover with no inlay in it and it’s for a fixed seat and the 70 rear seat I have is also a fixed seat. My question is, will a 1972 duster seat cover fit a 70 duster? Thanks for any help in advance.

Yes the rear seat frame is the same but I can tell you the stitching is slightly different on a 72 model year. The front seat the headrest is different on the 1970 so that will not fit a 1972.

As long as the seat cover will fit on a 70 duster rear seat that’s all I care about. The stitching makes no difference to me and I’ve already had the front seats reupholstered.

As long as it's not for the fold down version you are good to go. There are the same frame.
