72 Duster twister with the 275 horse 340 engine?

High compression engines went in 1972 in export.

I know for sure, that Monteverdi in Switzerland got high comression Bigblocks for their cars still in 1972.

It is also possible that high compression 340s found their way to AMAG - Schinznach in Switzerland.
I own a 1972 Demon 340 produced there and this cars sounds and accelerates nearly like a 1971 340 car. I will verify it and post it here.

Export 340s had different Thermoquad carburetors to US models in 1972 also.

As I announced above:

My Swiss Demon has a factory installed high compression 340 c.i. with forged crank, high compression pistons. Now I've mounted a date correct Thermoquad (instead of a inferior Edelbrock, which was mounted when I bought the car...) and it performes nearly as strong as my 71 Duster (the Demon is a little bit heavier and I have reinstalled the factory mounted 'York' AC.)

Obviously is it true, that in export cars you can find high compression engines still in 1972.
