I have a 72 Duster 340 with SBP wheels up front with drum brakes. Yea I know thats primative but I can afford the switch over at this time. I picked up some 14 x 7 rallyes for the back and I need to get a set for the front. I tried the 7 inch rims on the front and they rub against the suspension so I know I need narrower. Will the 6 inch wheels by vintique work or will they rub as well? What is the backset required on my set up?

i too have a 72 duster that im converting to disk fronts, im in the same situation, you might still be able to use a 7 inch up front if you get one with a smaller backspacing

I believe the stock wheels were 5 inch but not sure of the back spacing, but ebay sometimes has them cheap as long as they are not in a set of 4.

my rims are 14x6 with 3 3/4 inch backspacing to the lip of the rim
