72 Grille, on a 70 Dart

Does anybody know if they are immediately compatible? The only difference I can tell is the bar running down the middle. Has anyone tried switching them? The reason I want to do this is I think it would look better with the snorkel I'm putting on the hood.

Lol, I've put a 70 grille on a 72 Valiant with no trouble, as for a dart, I'm not sure.

It will fit right on there. So will a 72 Demon grill. It is the same as a 72 Dart grill.

Funny you mention that......I was considering doing the same thing on my '71 Demon. I just liked the look of the '72's larger turn signals, but I sold the car before I ever had a chance to.

When I bought my 70 Dart it had a 72 grille in it. I always liked the looks of the 72 grille and thought about keeping it, but I decided to install an original one instead.
