727 help needed please

fresh rebuild new high reverse drum. new clutches bands etc
works fine shifts, kicks down fine.. but when it shifts to drive or when i put it in reverse, it make an eirnt type rub squeek... for a brief second
what could this be? and am i hurting it by still driving it?

Could it just be coming from the back brakes slipping just a little when you drop it in gear?

Check the rubber trans mount on the X member. They deteriorate rapidly if soaked in oil.
