727 or 904 came in the 1972 Scamp

I am trying to find shift linkage kit for 727 and 904 transmission but I don't know how to tell which one I have. I am new to finding parts for my car. It is a slant six 225 bore 60 over with a shift kit in the trany and a four barrel holly. I am thinking I want to go to cable linkage for column shifter. But if I can find the rod linkage I would be happy with that.

The one on the left is a 904,the one on the right is a 727 and is longer than the 904.If you can find someone with /6 column shift linkage,it will work fine with the 904.I have a 727 in my Duster,but I had to tweak my column linkage a bit for it to work.:-D
 
Is the linkage for which one mine is different than the one above? I looked at the pan it look like a 904 based on pan shape thanx guys...
