727 push button to column

Can you put a steering column from say a 74 duster to a 65 valiant with a push button . I know you need linkage and all but will steering column and push button trnny work together

I bet you don't EAt SLeeP and **** all MOPARs. Why would you want to change a push button to a column shifter, Done right, the look of the push button blows people away and is simple to use...

I'm selling a automatic column to guy who has problems with his push button so he want to change but not sure if it'll work

1965? where does his shift now? some of those 1965 cars have a cable inside the column. also the the newer column might have a larger shaft connector. Lawrence

The later model column will not work with the cable shifted transmission. You will have to find an early A cable style steering column with the shifter on the column.
