I am rebuilding a a727, where is the best place online to get parts, I need a complete overhaul kit, both bands, and a low reverse drum.

If you're just looking for stock replacement items, then check with your local Transtar outlet. They will have everything you need. If it was my trans I'd get in the kit Raybestos waffle lined friction plates. Don't forget to get a bushing kit, the washer kit, the filter, and be sure to check the ball bearing on the output shaft as it might also need replacing.
For performance items, there are lots of sources for specialty plates. Just remember that B & M, TCI, etc. DO NOT make gasket sets, seals, friction plates, steel plates. They purchase them from the real manufactures and repackage them in their own boxes.
