Hi Guys, I have a 1970 Dart Swinger with a 440 motor and 727 transmission. The motor was bored .030 with a very small cam installed (a step or two over stock). The rearend is a 3:55. I'm NOT RACING the car at all, I'm using the car as a weekend driver and driving it to different car shows within driving distance (3 or 4 hours) of my home. My question is does anyone have a suggestion of the correct size torque converter I should have in there. I currently have a 2800 stall speed from ACC and it doesn't seem to pulling out correctly, almost like it's slipping when cold. The transmission was totally rebuilt and a shift kit was installed. I'm asking if anyone knows the correct stall speed and what brand torque converter they would suggest? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Dave!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds as though a stock converter would be fine for your application. Do you have the cam specs?
