727 transmission fluid Collin lines

727 TQ transmission lines attach to driver side near shifter linkage. Both lines travel forward to eventually connect to the lower tank of the radiator
Does it matter which line goes to the driver side of the radiator or to the passenger side?
Does it really make a difference?

Overall, I don't believe it matters on the radiator tank... it'll just flow in and out
If you're adding another cooler then it would matter

It does not matter on a horizontal built in transmission cooler. However, if it was vertical, like on General Motors products, then you would need the pressure line from the transmission on the bottom and the return line on the top.

As long as it doesn't have a check valve the fluid doesn't really care what direction it goes as long as it goes through the cooler you're golden
