just rebuilt my 727 for my ramcharger and have revers and no forward gears do the check balls have any thing to do with this
727 troubles need help or info

They can. Mainly the big one. If you use too large a one you won't have any forward gears. If I remember right the correct size is 11/32". I've seen guys loose this one and since it's an odd size they can't find one and put in a 3/8 and then don't have drive. There are other reasons for not having drive also. A problem in the rear cluth assy. can cause it. (Note: It's only called the rear clutch cause it's farthest back in the trans. case). Did you do air pressure checks when you were rebuilding it to test the clutch assemblies as you were going along? You can still do air pressure checks on the clutch packs if you drop the pan and valve body. Also if the overrunning clutch (sprague) isn't holding that can cause no reverse.
