727 what size bolts for dust cover?

Small block 727: what size are the bolts supposed to be that hold the dust cover on the front of the bell housing? Somehow I wound up with metric bolts, 6x1mm. That cannot be right.

I believe most of them are 3/8" - 16 and the smaller ones are 1/4" - 20 ... Maybe the largest ones 7/16" -14

Dust cover....pretty sure they are all 1/4-20, small block and big block alike, 5/8 or maybe 3/4 long max

yep, 1/4 x 20 thread/ 1/2" long

7/16 x 5/8 with 14 threads per inch are the big bolts that hold the braces on. If u don’t use the braces u will have to make up the thickness with washers. Kim

I could be wrong. That dii ohms seem kinda short. Kim
