73 340/360 Heads came off a motor i just bought they have new rocker gear and have been rebuilt. They look good but have been run for a coupe hundred miles. I was told they have 202 valves but i can't confirm that, not sure how to measure. Head #'s 3671587. They come with head bolts/factory rockers, shafts and pushrods. I would prefer local pick up but I can ship.

$400

Dang, I'd like to have these heads but shipping from Cali would kill me.

Not wanting to jack this thread, but, I believe the 587's never came with 2.02" intake valves. Used on the 340/360 engines from '73 and up, had 1.88" intake valves.

I believe your right, someone put the 202's in the heads, they are worked but not ported. There is no room for a bigger valve in them either. I really wouldn't mind if they had just under two inch valves. Put a tape on them Rob just to see what they really are. If they are under 2 inch they are 188's and if they are over 2 inch they are 202's. They look like 202's to me.

It's not hard to have a head guy put 2.02's in them. I do it all the time.

I think you can tell the intake valve size with a nickel and a dime.

Hmm side by side? Thanks for all the comments. This is why I said I wasn't sure if the were hogged out to 202's I dont want to misrepresent them. Either way these are sold to 65CudaFish.

Could tell by photo they were 2.02s. 2.02s almost touch the exhaust valves and 1.88s have a gap between the 2.

Rob one last request if possible. Do you by chance still have the engine the heads came off of ? If so and if the cam has been removed will you look on the butt end of the cam and give me the numbers off it. I'm looking for the grind # to be specific, it may save me from having to install different valve springs on the heads. Clean up bolt on and go would be tit's. Anything's possible!
