73 340 duster

I thought Id throw this out an get some opinion's.
I'm looking for a project, a friend has a numbers matching 73 340 duster i can pick up for cheap, plus gas to drive from Texas to Oregon to go get it, not so cheap. it needs everything including front floors and a quarter panel. its an a/c car, power steering, rubber floor matt. light green with a green interior. im figuring probably 3500 with gas, do y'all think its worth that?

Sounds like a nice car to me.

My opinion is, since there is nothing especially cheap about a musclecar project, if you like the car, the extra thou here and there will not mean all that much by the time you get it done. Maybe its a plus to you that you get the car from a friend and that will make it even more appealing. Maybe the ride from Texas to Oregon will be a fun adventure and that's a plus. I say it really depends on if this is the car you want to have when its done.
